Members’ Day and Annual General Meeting
Saturday 10 October 2009
Cambridgeshire is the venue for this year’s Members’ Day. For the morning’s talks and the AGM we shall be at the Marshall Aerospace Conference Rooms in Cambridge, and in the afternoon there will be excursions by coach to see two contrasting reserves: our brand new chalk grassland reserve at Cherry Hinton Chalk Pits, and the beautiful wet meadows and woodlands of Fulbourn Fen. This is an excellent opportunity to meet other members, Trustees, volunteers and staff as well as to learn how much the Trust is doing with your support.
This year Nick Hammond will be looking back on his ten years as the Trust’s Chief Executive and Brian Eversham, who succeeds him in November will be setting out his vision for the future. There will also be talks about the Trust’s work in Cambridgeshire and our Ecology Groups.
The morning will start at 9.30 am where tea/coffee will be available.
The AGM will start at 12.15 pm. All members are invited to the AGM whether or not they attend the Members’ Day.
There will be a buffet lunch at 1.15 pm, for which there will be a charge of £10 (inc VAT) per head. The charge for the coach trip will be £6 each. Please make cheques payable to ‘The Wildlife Trust BCNP’ and return with the completed form to Members’ Day, The Wildlife Trust, The Manor House, Broad Street, Great Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6DH by 18 September. If you have any enquiries, please phone James Williams on 01954 713536.
Please do join us – we would love to see you!
