Garden Watch: A weekend of wildlife for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough

We know gardens are good for wildlife and now it’s your chance to show us just how good your garden is!

We are launching Garden Watch: A weekend of wildlife for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Over one weekend in June, Saturday 26th – Sunday 27th, we are asking for you to tell us what is in your garden. This will help us to understand what species are using gardens and how we can safeguard them.

You can record what visits your garden on our online survey form, coming soon, and all returned forms will be entered into a prize draw to win a copy of the latest edition of Wildlife Gardening for Everyone. Forms submitted online will also be offered the opportunity to receive a free gift from Vine House Farm bird foods.

With the countryside increasingly under threat, many species are looking for refuge in our gardens. You don’t need a huge garden to make a difference – even some flowers on a balcony or a small log pile will be appreciated by the smaller creatures. Visit our dedicated Garden Watch website for more infomation.
