Reserves officer

Location: Northamptonshire
Full-time: Five days a week, 37.5 hours
Salary: £16,500 - £18,500 (Two-year contract with possible extension)

The Wildlife Trust of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire Northamptonshire and Peterborough is looking for an enthusiastic person with a keen interest and commitment to nature reserve management to join the dynamic Northamptonshire team. We manage over 45 reserves in the county including limestone grassland, ancient woodland and former gravel pits.

You will need chainsaw and brushcutter qualifications, driving licence and a first aid certificate. Also essential is an understanding of the principles of ecology and habitat management. You should be able to lead and motivate volunteers, and be prepared to undertake a wide variety of practical and office based tasks.
